Morimoto Asia Dining at Disney

The main entrance features a three-story structural glass fin wall, which incorporates precision fabricated and polished stainless steel fittings and accents.

Ventana was selected to provide the structural glass fin wall at the new Morimoto Asia restaurant that is located at The Landing at Disney Springs in Orlando, Florida. The unique restaurant layout includes lounges, private dining spaces, and a glass encased kitchen where patrons of the restaurant can get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the culinary action. In addition, the dramatic interior design includes a multi-level bar and spiraling chandelier made of illuminated glass bottles. Custom glass-beaded chandeliers evoke the ocean delicacies of Chef Morimoto’s cuisine, and are reflected in antique mirrors interspersed with glass mosaic artworks based on ancient Japanese prints.

Ventana completed this project well ahead of the restaurant’s planned opening. The main entrance features a three-story structural glass fin wall, which incorporates precision fabricated and polished stainless steel fittings and accents. Vertical glass fins soar from floor to ceiling supporting the beautiful, crystal clear, low-iron façade glazing.
