PalmTower

1 2 / 2

The PalmTower is designed to be a distinctive addition to Phoenix’s urban skyline.

Rising from its site on the northwest corner of East Van Buren and North 5th Street, the twenty-eight story tower will appear to float above a sculptural silver clad parking podium that is grounded by majestic palm trees and lush desert landscaping at the adjacent city sidewalks.

The ground level of this complex includes an 18’ tall light filled ‘great room’ lobby. This 29-story, 300-unit residential tower transforms the entry sequence into the Arizona Center to become a new heart of a transforming neighborhood with private gardens and a private dog park accessed from the tower’s elevator core.

The seven level Podium is wrapped in a perforated metallic scrim that catches light, shadow and color producing a unique sculptural gesture within the urban fabric. On the ground level, short-term visitor parking and bays for service and move-ins is provided. The six above ground levels of podium include parking stalls for 350 cars.

The amenity floor features shaded transparent facades minimizing the line between the interior and the outdoor amenity features. The terrace will offer 360-degree views to the city’s mountain horizons and urban skyline. The interior amenities include glazed workout and indoor-outdoor yoga spaces, a community living room/lounge, and a media room.

The residential tower rising above the podium includes 21 floors of rental units with 9’0” ceilings and will offer a variety of unit sizes and room combinations with balconies from which to enjoy the views and fresh air. This mix of studios, ‘convertibles’ as well as one, two and three bedroom suites will each have their own private skyline view.
