Ventana was hired to supply and install 50,000 square feet of curtain wall for the podium area and 50,000 square feet of window wall for the residential tower above.

Ventana was hired to supply and install the curtain and window wall on this 17-story tall mixed-use tower. The building was designed to accommodate work, entertainment, and living at once. The project is part of the wide Philadelphia Center City reconstructions and upgrades, which desires to turn the city into an attractive tourist destination. The design completely changed East Market, as we knew it. The initial phase encompasses 1100 Market Street, including new construction of a mixed-use development consisting of 107,000 square feet of new retail with frontage on Market Street and a 322-unit apartment building above the retail space. Additionally, there will be a new parking garage accommodating 200 vehicles and a centralized loading facility to service this area and future phases of the East Market Development.

The project consists of 50,000 square feet of curtain wall for the podium area and 50,000 square feet of window wall for the residential tower above. The unitized window wall and curtain wall utilize Solarban 60 and Sungate 400 low-E glass imported from Tecnoglass in Columbia, South America for enhanced solar performance.
