Ventana was selected to provide the exterior enclosure at the lobby and retail portion of this new office tower located in Richmond, Virginia. This elegant, state-of-the-art office building is a powerful addition to the Richmond skyline. The 16-story tower includes Class A office space, a 5-story parking garage, as well as retail space. The project is LEED Gold certified.
Ventana provided 12,000 square feet of custom curtain wall for this project. The system used is the VS-1 system, which is a point-supported system with no horizontals where the glass is held off the mullions to achieve a sleek and transparent look. The 20 foot tall oversized glass lites were imported from Interpane in Germany and employs a concealed spacer approach to give the look of an uninterrupted flow of glass. Additionally, the project includes custom stainless steel entrances and doors.
