Four Seasons Hotel
Ventana was hired to supply and install approximately 39,000 square feet of exterior wall systems at the new addition to the JW Marriott Hotel on Marco Island, Florida. Aspiring to become a top choice for professional meeting and event planners, the newly redesigned hotel boasts over 100,000 square feet of innovative space featuring 24-foot ceilings and full-height windows highlighting dramatic beach views. The new function rooms complement the resort’s host of current amenities including two championship golf courses, “casually luxurious” guest rooms, and world-class water adventures right outside.
Ventana’s scope consisted of curtain wall, window wall, entrances, folding Nana wall systems, interior glazing, and 4,500 linear feet of exterior and interior hand rails. The glass for the unitized systems were imported from Tecnoglass in Columbia, South America. Due to the location of this project, it was designed to meet Florida Building Code as well as Miami-Dade County.
