One Chicago Square – Tower C

1 2 3 / 3

The project will feature apartments and high-end amenities and will connect to a rooftop park.

The One Chicago Square project in the bustling Gold Coast neighborhood will cover an entire city block and consist of an 8-story podium as well as two towers, Tower A and Tower C. Ventana has been selected to design, manufacture, and install the window wall system at the 49-story tall Tower C and part of the podium.

Ventana’s MWS-150 window wall system will be utilized in Tower C and the podium. The MWS-150 is a six inch deep, four-sided structurally glazed system that is pressure equalized and has equal performance to a curtain wall system. The system will be fabricated in China and one inch thick insulated glass units will be glazed into the system. The glass will have a low-E coating on surface number two as well as argon-fill and stainless steel spacers between the glass panes for increased performance. Additionally, unique, triangular, aluminum feature panels that are protruding four inches past the face of glass will be glazed into the system.
