The new buildings house a national training center, Eastern sales region and U.S. engineering operations.

In July 2008, BMW of North America LLC opened the $100 million addition to its Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, headquarters. The new buildings house a national training center, Eastern sales region and U.S. engineering operations. The atrium curtain wall spans 26 feet between anchor points, with sunshades installed on its framing. Glazing for the project cost $2.2 million.

It was important for the architect to achieve wide spans for the atrium, but still control heat gain. This was achieved utilizing steel-loaded, free-spanning curtain wall with horizontal and vertical sunshades.

This project was completed by the Ventana team while with another firm.
