Ventana was selected to provide design-build services for the Student Center and Residence Hall for the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. The building is located in the heart of the Central West End neighborhood, which is home to a myriad of local shops, restaurants, bars, and other businesses.

Ventana designed, supplied, and installed 40,000 square feet of exterior curtain wall for this 7-story, 193,000-square-foot building designed by Lamar Johnson Collaborative. Floors 1-2 of the building utilizes Ventana’s twin-span curtain wall system with low-E coatings, silk screen frit patterns, and custom spandrel glass integrated into the unitized curtain wall panels. The building skin at the upper floors includes a mix of curtain wall, precast panels with brick facing, and punched windows. The glass for this project was provided by Viracon.

The University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis developed a strategic plan to position itself as a global leader in pharmacy education, collaborative research, and patient centered care. Attracting and retaining acclaimed faculty and bright students was paramount to the success of that mission.
