Indianapolis International Airport Hotel

Ventana is contributing its building enclosure expertise to Indianapolis International Airport, a new seven-story hotel taking shape directly on the Indianapolis International Airport campus.

Designed to create a seamless connection between travel and hospitality, the hotel will feature 253 guest rooms, a full-service restaurant, fitness center, seventh-floor bar and lounge, approximately 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and dedicated parking and valet service. A pedestrian passage will connect the hotel directly to the airport parking garage, providing convenient access to the terminal.

The project reached a major milestone in May 2026 with the completion of its structural frame. With the building topped out, work moved into the next phase, including installation of the glass façade, roofing, interior guest rooms, dining and bar areas, meeting spaces, and other amenities. The hotel is scheduled to open in late 2027.

The project brings together more than 100 Indiana companies and is expected to involve more than 1,500 construction professionals by completion. Shiel Sexton is serving as general contractor, with CSO Architects as architect of record, FlickMars leading public space interior design, and Carson Design leading guestroom interior design.

Once complete, The Westin Indianapolis International Airport will create a new hospitality destination at IND, giving travelers a direct connection to the terminal while adding meeting, dining, and gathering spaces to the airport campus.
