Ventana was contracted to provide the facade systems on Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Northwestern wanted a high performance building that would last 50 years. Ventana systems were engineered to meet stringent u-values for thermal performance far in excess of code requirements. By collaborating with our client, Ventana was able to achieve a .19 composite u-value utilizing the following enhancements:
- Triple insulated glass
- Thermally broken framing
- Advanced materials in lieu of aluminum for ancillary parts
